1. Share a list of your favorite Anime shows, and why you like them.
Gundam Wing- not aimed at as young an audience as the original, and has the complex story lines and dynamic characters that make a great story. i love how there are characters who aren't necissarily good or bad, there's some grey area concerning intentions and motives. And the Gundam pilots have great philosophies on how to live your life.

Cowboy Bebop- like Star Wars, it's all about the music! And I love the balance of Spike and Jet's diverging life philosophies. Plus great directing by Shinichiro Watinabe (Nabeshin!)

Tenchi Muyo- Just a crazy, fun little story. The underlying tone of Japanese spirituality, philosophy, and their link with nature is a great theme. I also like Tenchi Universe for taking one of Tenchi Muyo's story arcs and expanding it for a full series.

Excel Saga- Just plain NUTS! I love a little insanity. (Nabeshin!)

2. Any shows you particularly don't like, and why?

Tenchi in Tokyo- they completely f'd up the original story, and made it for a younger audience. suck, suck, suck, suck, suck.

Neon Genesis Evangeleon- great, great show; good writing; very intriguing story; some awsome individual episodes; WORST ENDING EVER. And the movies they did following the series only made it worse. 13 hrs. of my life I'll never get back.

3. How big is your anime DVD/VHS collection?
27 discs, plus the Animatrix- don't know how to classify that exactly.

4. Any other collectables? (you otaku! )
nope

5. How often do you watch [adult swim] on Cartoon Network?
at least twice a week.

6. WoTmaniacs: Ever go to the [as] website and get confused when they use the AS abreviation?
just threw me for a minute.

7. Have you ever submitted a B&W bump card? Did they air it?
Yes. No.

8. Doesn't it suck they're putting ATHF on for an hour each weeknight?
sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks

9. What is it about anime in general that draws you to the genre?
Originally, it was the idea that there were cartoons for older peolple. Then I came to appreciate the stories and themes, especially the darker ones for a while. Now it's the artistic style I appreciate the most.

10. WoT related: would you prefer to see an animated version of tEotW, rather than the live action one people are talking about?

I think this would be better if they ever want to expand to do the whole series; at least, to do it right, and true to the book. No actors aging over the years it would take. Plus it would be easier to show the special effects like channeling.
