...waiting for my flight back to the UK, which doesn't depart till 11.30, and I figured it's time for a survey. Oh, and I've only got 10 minutes of internet time left, because I can't be bothered to buy more, so it'll have to be a quick one.

1. Have you ever been on an airplane?
yes often, but years ago
2. Where did you go? Or if you fly too much to say all, where do you go most of the time?
mostly back and forth to the U.S.
3. Do you like flying? Why (not)?
no! I am terrified of fliying after a very bad near-accident. Don't tell me it's stupid : I know!
4. Don't you just love sitting at an airport waiting for your flight? I know I do. So many people to watch, so many things to see....
I hate it. Spent to many hours in there. Just the smell of an airport make me sick.
5. Any funny plane/airport related stories?
I was in the '80 and it was allowed to smoke on planes. So, I asked for a smokers seat, got the worst place of the plane, almost sitting on an engine (it was a DC9, I think. Small, anyway)and just after take-off they declared the whole flight NON SMOKING!
6. What do you usually do during your flight? Just sit and wait? Read? Sleep?
Read, eat, sleep, watch the movies, listen to music...
7. Window or aisle seat? aisle, so i can move around.
8. Have you ever missed a flight? If so, what did you do?
Missed a lot of connecting flights. Wait the next and rant, what else?
9. What's your favourite airport? Why?
I liked best the old Atlanta airport. Shiphold was not bad too.
10. If money wasn't an issue, would you travel by plane more often?
I would take a cruise around the world. You know, those small luxury ships with names like Danae or Arianna...
11. If you could take a flight to anywhere you want, but you'd have to leave right now, with just enough time to pack a suitcase, where would you go?

12. Has the airline ever lost your suitcase? Which airline was it?
no, I was lucky at least in that.
13. It looks like I'll be flying a lot in the years to come. What airlines should I avoid?
no idea, I have not been in touch lately

I'll go and find myself some food now, because they don't even feed you on these short flights....a sandwich with a slice of cheese that tastes like plastic is the best I can hope for.
