I've been wondering how the Kerry thing has gone over with some of his supporters.

I suppose the problem is that the people who support him don't like to watch the networks who bring up that sort of thing, as while some of the more liberal ones may mention it, they don't generally remind the public too often of the mistakes of the democratic front-runner in the same way they do the republicans (alcohol use in the past, for instance, in the case of Bush. Never mind that he's sober now and has been throughout his political career).

It goes the other way, too, of course. Republicans don't like to watch networks that ignore the hypocritical actions or mistakes of Democrats and do all their stories on Republican mistakes.
