Belieivng more and more that Christ was just a man. A teacher, leader, but nothing else. Just a man.
I believe he was more.
And with that belief, I also believe some other things that science commonly denies.
And I believe that is the best way, because there's still a degree of faith and the divine involved, whereas if you take everything scientific first, there's really no justification for believing in supernatural entities like God or angels at all. You can say you still do, but if you're really being logical, there's no proof. And if you say you don't need proof, well then, what good is any argument that denies anything in the Bible for scientific reasons?
It's all about how much you take on faith, as compared to how you see the religion and faith. Is it something beyond mortal man, or just something we indulge in on Sundays before watching sports on TV?
