I waited way too long to get started on the Project this time around, and since I have to move out of my room in about thirteen hours, I don't have time to write as much as I wanted for all the people I wanted to say something about. For all the people I would have written something for if I wasn't a lazy bastard, I've left your name up; I do have something to say about you, I just don't have the time to say it right now. Maybe one of these days I'll edit the rest of the comments in. Yeah, right. So, basically, because of time constraints I'm only going to say something about the people who are either my closest friends at wotmania or who've caught my eye in such a way that I can't not comment.

Catriona Sedai
Jena's a good person. She doesn't make a big deal of it, she doesn't go out of her way to impress it upon you, and that just adds to it. I'm her lackey for a reason.
It's hard to come up with specific things to say about Jena. I can say she's sweet, and funny, and caring, but it's even more than that, really; she's more than the sum of her awesomeness. If you don't know her, then that's something to fix.

Man, we go to the same school, and I think we might even have lived in the same dorm this past year, but we've never met or spoken. We're going to have to get together over some pizza in Coates next year, if only to talk about all the great books you read.

Danae alThor
Danae's another person I recommend you get to know as soon as possible. She's smart and funny and her niceness has a pleasant bite to it sometimes. She's one of the really great ones around here, plus she still enjoys WoT. Like, actually enjoys it. You've got to respect that kind of tenacity.
Just kidding, Danae.

Dodge
Dodge. Ah, Dodge Dodge Dodge. It's a real shame that you're leaving, man, although I completely understand why it has to be. All the friendships I've made here through AIM, all the late (and occasionally completely sleepless) nights talking to people, all the close friendships I've formed, it all started with you. If you hadn't IMed me that day in August, I doubt I would have talked to a single person from wotmania other than on the message boards and the Noteboard, and a lot of things just wouldn't be. You've done more than I can really thank you for, Dodge, but I've gotta give it a try anyway.
Dodge, ladies and gentlemen, our Mr. Rick, is one of the funniest people you'll ever talk to, but that's not what makes him so great. If wotmania had a gigantic contest to see who was the nicest person around here, Dodge would be one of the last ones in the ring, and...uh...this analogy fell apart somewhere. Look, the simple truth of it is, he's a great guy, one of the few truly good people I've met. Dodge, if you weren't going to be around on AIM, I'd be pretty damn down about you leaving. As it is, I'm just bummed that we won't get to see any more posts from you. Your puns, while painful, are also golden. You, sir, are a true winner.
draggie
And then there's draggie. The problem with having so many really great people around this joint is that it's hard to talk about how great they all are without becoming repetitive. Luckily, draggie's in a class of her own. She's hilarious, she's got a damn sharp wit, and she's a great person to be friends with. One of these days, draggie, you really are going to have to come up here so we can go to the Alamo.
