Argentina as a country didn't even exist, I believe, and i also don't think there was anyone on them. Moreover, in 1982 all of the citizens on the Island wished to remain British, and not be under Argentine rule. Their opinion is surely what counts most of all.

At the time Spain had the Falkland Islands, was Norway a free country?

Because if we honour all historical claims from that point in history as being the most valid...
