Always thought she was funny, and before I ever even encountered her, loved the SN. I don't really talk to her ever, but she seems cool.

Okay, this will be my "Steph" entry. I'm super happy to know her... as I just said about Geoff, I feel like I've known her, like she was a friend of mine when I was a kid, who I just happen to communicate with now online... when I met her and Geoff, it wasn't like any other "meeting of online friends" that I've had before, it just seemed like there was no uncomfortability to overcome. I just got along with both of them right from the get-go. It's often a problem, I've found, even if you like someone that you know online... there are awkward moments, times when you wonder if the other person is disappointed in you based on what they expected, or other silly little things like that... I never had that with Steph, which indicates to me that she's a really cool person, in my books. Oh, not to mention that I have an astounding admiration for her and what she's done in her life... raising two (and now three) kids at a young age is tough, and she had some other tough situations on top of that. However, she's perservered and come out a fantastic woman. I hope I don't keep myself insanely busy next year like I have the last year, so that I have more time to keep in contact with people like her, who I am proud of counting among my friends.

I feel I should say something, even though I don't really know him. Well... I acknowledged that I should say something, so that should count for some points based on the fact that you've made a positive impression on me.

Fanatic

What can I say? Hmm... consistently one of the most thought-provoking and entertaining people that I've encountered here. I really listen to what he has to say, and appreciate the energy with which he undertakes all of his endeavours. There are few people in this world, online or otherwise, that you can tell that they really think about all aspects of life philosophically, and make honest decisions based on deep reflection. He's one of them, and I think that's one of the most admirable qualities a person can have. Rock on.
