of the public queried her on it, and she completely failed to give any reasonable answer - she repeatedly ducked the issue.

She was just caught completely unawares. Probably the only team she was on TV or being interviewed she was normally very good at that sort of thing.

Can't argue with this, viewpoint makes a big difference to it. I don't think it was a war crime as such, but I do think it was a very bad incident that she didn't ever deal with.

I agree it was a very bad incident that the government did not deal with well at all. If they had it wouldn't still be hanging around.
