To quote that interview on OF, "an individual’s selection of his/her moral philosophy must be based upon his/her moral philosophy." If you are raised a Catholic, you are likely to believe in Catholic morals and will thus, well, believe in Catholicism. And it isn't fair, but, all of us being biased from birth, it seems difficult to entirely omit religion from a person's upbringing, and only introduce the concept to them at a mature-er age.
