Well, I went to one last night, and another one tonight, so... Zaphod - 30/04/2004 04:42:59 PM

I'll answer for both. Last night was Alexisonfire, a pretty popular Canadian indie kind of emo band. I was curious about them, but I was mostly there because I volunteer at the venue they played at. As a benefit of volunteering there (it's a non-profit, inner-city venue), I get free tickets to shows, so I'm going tonight to see Destroyer, this guy from Vancouver that plays folkish-type mellow music.

and what was the first concert you attended?

I went to see Bruce Springsteen with my mom at the Calgary Saddledome when I lived there, in 1993 (I was 12 or 13).

Did you like them?

Last night, the show wasn't very good, tonight probably will be better. Bruce Springsteen was alright, and it was just before he got popular again with "Streets of Philadelphia". It was interesting.

Best concert I've ever been to was Neil Young, which I also went to with my mom, interestingly enough.
