Everytime we've chatted, it was about how much work we both have had to do.. I don't know what to say, buddy. It seems your company there is a bit misguided, and if that's the case, it isn't an entirely bad thing. Can you take this to someone higher? I'm sure showing what you've done in the past couple of months, the hours you've put in, and how much of your boss' job you've been doing would convince someone of your worth.
I really tried to talk my way out of this... at least into a transfer or a probation period. I got nothing. Basically, it comes down to my word versus his word. He was brought in after months of searching and from Texas. I'm much more expendable. Of course, getting rid of me will expose him to his bosses for the bad job he's doing.
When it came right down to it, a company that isn't willing to invest any time to really sit down with their people, get to the bottom of things, or even ask around for other opinions, and work toward a mutually beneficial solution, is a company I don't want to be working for any longer.
At any rate, I'm not going to try and cookie coat this with a bunch of crap. If you need to talk, you know where to find me buddy.
Will do, my friend. *man huggles*
I'll be in touch soon. I've got some work to do today... trying to get a plan.
