Halifax is an awesome city. It's on the water, not too big-city-ish without missing out on any of your required city commodities, and is in the beautiful Nova Scotia.
I've been once to halifax, pretty much loved it

at this point it looks like I'm going into teaching . . . music teaching . . . I don't know how Canada's music programs are in grade-high school and such. If it's anythign like America there won't be too many of those jobs available . . . (Bush's No Kid Left Behind law causes a lot of money to be spent on the subjects like science and math and history, music programs all over the country get screwed)
