None of this Bachelor of Medicine stuff! Much more esoteric. Ph.D. As in "Pass me my geological hammer, nurse, while I extract Xabi from this quivering mass of flesh"
While your generous offer is disturbingly tempting, I fear I must refuse. There is no better cure for xerophobia than constant exposure to all things x. So Xabi must stay, and help me grow as a person
Big mistake, but you are free to ruin your life
However, if you were to consider a deal involving some of your Chelsea players (nasty things those, best to get rid of them quickly) I may consider getting rid of that rather large millstone known only as Sol. What say you?
I have a poor opinion of the Arsenal defence. They seem to leak goals. Lots of them. With or without Sol. While I have an abundance of Chelsea defenders, they are precious to me - if one the starting four - Terry, Ferreira, Carvalho and Gallas is injured, then Bridge, Babayaro and Johnson come into contention. I regret Gallas' rise to prominence as Bridge and Babayaro were the left-back pair until they got hurt and Gallas made the job his. Johnson is the back-up for Ferreira.
So...as Sol could only ever compete with my Mr. King as sub, I feel that I should not part with my Chelsea guys. I would be mad to lose Terry and Ferreira in any case - they are 1st and 4th in the defender's FF points list, with King 5th. Sol is >50th with 16. Even Wayne Bridge has 28, and Babayaro has 21
Your problem is more Reyes than Sol, I feel. Sol just gets hurt, but Reyes has lost his edge - basically those nasty Man U players found out how to beat Arsenal, now everyone is trying the same tactics - part of which entail kicking Reyes out of the game.
Find someone (not me!) who is lacking name strikers, but has Paul Dickov - Alric, Morgawse, mormegil or quoth. Try to swap Reyes for Dickov plus a tradesman defender.
Unfortunately I used up all my uninjured stock of value in previous trading. I have some Man U guys that never play, and three magic midfielders who can't play due to injury. My defenders are four in number - that I can rely on - Terry, Ferreira, King and Pamarot, with all the rest subject to Mourinho's whims or, in the case of Edman, getting injured too often. Even my seven strikers are reduced to three by injury.
Sorry. Can't help.
