both are fraternal so it's my wife's fault But we are the first in our family to have twins so we're the start of that gene I guess. Selfishly I prefer 2 pregnancies for 4 kids instead of 4 pregnancies, but my wife may not agree with that.

Why not? I mean, that's like.. 36 months work, done in 18 months.
I wouldn't have wanted two kids at once, but my belly sure was big enough for two kids Vijay's size, with room to spare.
