{/QUOTE}As long as brown stays healthy he and Vasquez are good, but Mussina is still having trouble, Contrares hasn't looked good at all, and John Lieber hasn't pitched a major league game in two years.{/QUOTE}
Vazquez and Brown will be fine unless Brown goes down (which is really bad and a possibility I don't really want to think about because Lieber is still a question mark.) Mussina is the only one that really worries me right now, he hasn't had a good start all year.
As for Contreras, I think that once the weather warms up, he should be fine. He was like this last year too....sucky in April, lights-out in September, very average in October. He is a warm-weather pitcher, and once it really warms up he should be fine. Emphasis on should be.
All in all, I'm still very optimistic for this year, even though I won't be around for the end of it....should be nothing if not interesting at the very least.
why isn't the first paragraph in bold?
