DISCLAIMER: I know a lot of people around here. Sticking around for 4 years does that to a person. I have talked to many of you and recognize most of you. But if I took the time to say something to every person I have ever run across, not only would I probably fail my exams NEXT WEEK, but I'd also be endlessly repeating myself and run into a situation where I would be repeating things which would cheapen their value. Therefore, don't feel bad if I don't comment on you specifically, as I'm keeping my comments for those that a) I am very close to, or b) there is some sort of inside joke running between us. You're all wonderful people, and I honestly wish I knew more of you better....we're all a part of this site and mold it into the fabric that makes the community which we are all a part of.
calis
Calis is one of those who I remember when he joined, and felt saddened when he wandered off. I remember RPing, chatting, posting, and otherwise having very nice conversations with him. Sadly, he seems to have been absent of late. His loss is sorely noticed.
Captain Psyko
I dub thee Linkmaster Extrodinaire™. You are a constant source of strange and interesting information, as well as one of the more politically oriented members of our site. If I'm looking for some random bit of amusement or simply basic knowledge, you're a great person to turn to.
Chorabliss
He's got a cool name. Greg. I just realy like the sound of it. Don't know why. Another excellent article posters. He and I seem to be the only people who regularily do Science posts, and Greg far more often than I. It's nice to know that one can always look into one of this threads and expect something informative and interesting.
Clover
Another name that makes me miss people. She was the last bastion of innocence remaining in chat, and always a pleasure to joke around with. She did jobs when they needed to get done, and was a constant source of positive energy. Her absence is felt harshly.
cmdjing
Yet another chatter who's great to have around. jing has a very cynical sense of humor which appeals to me, and is one of those who is not afraid to express his opinions in a Daria-esque manner. He's always welcome in chat.
Craig
*throws a Jauntily* Craig is one of the most easygoing chatters around. Whatever the topic, he always has something to contribute, often in the form of a jauntily. Always a welcome participant, and a good person to chat with if you have nothing to talk about.
Cristal : )
Cristal is a wonderful young lady. She manages to be cheerful no matter what is thrown her way, and is always a pleasure to talk to. While I admit to finding the smiley in her name to be a tad amusing, it's very descriptive of her character.
Cupid
Que, ironically enough, I started talking with more at another community site: orkut. He's a very humorous person and always worth a chat.
Cymbaline
Another one of the Games Cult. We seem to be on the opposite side of debates rather often, and end up making fun of one another on occasion. It's always nice to develop one of those relationships with someone, and he's a really great sport about it.
damookster
damookster is a great poster, and it's very easy to tell that he is knowledgable in many areas. One can always look to him for some sort of wit, no matter the topic, which cuts to the bone of the discussion. Many people wish they could have the sort of insight he does.
Di-new
Miss sunshine. I don't think there's been a single time I saw Di without a smile on her face. She always wanders into chat and cheers everyone up immediately. A very wonderful woman.
Dodge.
Geez. This guy does NOTHING for the site. Dodge. is one of those who, despite all the praise he is sure to get, is very underappreciated. I have lost track of the times he has IMed me about some various function at the site he wanted input on to make it just right. Interviews are now his territory, and he puts together things for the WoT Board, OF Board, and everywhere else with equal ease. Irreplacable.
Draco Paladin
The little known Paladin is one of those who I look up to. Very knowledgable in all forms of combat, he was a fantastic RPer, one who I aspire to have an ounce of the knowledge he was able to exercize with his writing. While appearances are rare, one can always expect him to be able to add insight that was unforseen prior to his comment, no matter the topic.
draggie
My lovely little familiar. Laura is like a light in the darkness, always amusing and able to cheer anyone up. Very knowledgable in asian culture, she is always welcome to share that knowledge with others in an enthusiastic manner. She's also SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for the propogation of the cooler smileys at the site. So, this is for you, draggie. o.o
dronad
Yet another one of the infamous Games Cult. If memory serves, he was the first of the now numerous Xbox fans who hang out around the forum. He is always enthusiastic and able to express things in a positive light. Further, I have to give him props for being a PSU student and one of the two wotmaniacs I've ever met in real life.
Durandir
Durandir is one of the faces that we want to see around here more often. He's here, but not. Durandir was able to make light of serious situations and find humor at dark times, helping to cheer me up when I was feeling down. Always a welcome addition to a conversation.
Dylanfanatic
Larry is....indescribable. Of late he has started to fade into the background, but he has done a great deal for the Other Fantasy section, helping to get it on its feet and continue standing. Indeed, it is thanks to him that I recieved my first admin position, and we all know where it's gone from there. He's an important member of the site, and it just wouldn't be the same without him.
This was either the start of something bad or the end of something stupid.
