With all the TOians with their "benks" and the Quebecers with their Canadian French accents, and the Newfies with their mock Irish accents.
I think say-dist, as you spell it, is standard. At least, here in NY it's standard to say it that way.

Interesting...I asked that question because usually people start to dislike an accent because it is associated with a non-native ethnic group that isn't accepted very well. I know that there has been a large influx from Asia into Canada...do you think it has anything to do with that?
I don't think so. It just has to do with... I just don't like them. I only know one or two Asians, and they're native (as in, they're grandparents were immigrants, but they're not), so they've got local accents.
