I have to admit Arsenal have been, without doubt, the best team in the league this season and they thoroughly deserve it.
very true
If they get a decent goalkeeper, and some cover players they can be a truly formidable side. At the moment one or two injuries and I get the feeling they will struggle (like last season when Campbell was injured / suspended).
I would be amazed if Lehmann is their first choice again next season, he is very good at times but he is also a liability at times. As to the cover players, well all the reports I've seen suggest that they have a large number of very good young players coming through currently, so that will be taken care of from the inside to some extent
I guess the attention turns to relegation and 4th place. I think the current bottom three teams will go down. Fourht place I don't know. With results yesterday, I think it is a 3 horse race now between Villa, Liverpool, and Newcastle (damn Chelsea *shakes fist. My instinct says Liverpool or Newcastle, but Villa have done fantastically well this season. I hope it's Liverpool but I can see a last day decider again .
Sadly, Birmingham seem to have dropped out of the running - a good season for us all the same though. I hope it's not Villa, but they seem to be the form team now - they were at the bottom before Christma. Liverpool still seem to be a bit of a mess despite beating United, they are reported to have £30 million to spend this summer - how well do you htink it will be spent?
