Well - sadly I only know about them from when others mention them (which isn't often). They all sound normal to me. One example, though, would be the fact that I alternate the use of "pop" and "soda". In the midwest and central Canada, it's always pop. In New England (at least where and when I was growing up) it's soda. I alternate and frequently have people look at me funny when I use soda.
Apparently I pronounce roof funny as well.
Gunfire...from combat, hunting, target practice, going postal...?
Originally Civil war re-enacting. Later from training when I was in the military. I was on the "terrorist team" meaning I played Opfor against the cops during exercises. Lots of fun running around and shooting an M-60, M-16 or a grenade launcher. I doubt hunting contributed much and I've not gone postal (yet anyway) or seen "actual" combat.
