Isn't Swedish a lot like German? The Voice of Lews Therin - 25/04/2004 10:42:03 PM

I speak the accent of my area, which is a very hard to understand German for people who aren't natives, maybe even some parts of Germany have problems understanding us, once we get going.
Which area is that, out of curiosity?

my english probably has a german accent to it. because of the special way my swedish gf and me talk with each other in english I seem to get a swedish accent lately, though

yeah many accents in germany are considered moronic, most of them for a reason
Please expand on which ones and why...I would be very interested to learn...

well, all the arabs and turkish ppl in Germany speak an awful German *shrugs* it's the truth...
You know, I almost wrote "Turkish accents in Germany" in my explanatory phrase for the question...I understand they're NOT popular...
