The guy I have been dating since January (yes, the same fellow I met on the plane back from the NYC gathering... For those of you who pay attention... )
Well, IMO, if you've been dating someone for some 4 months (and haven't been seeing anyone else) then he is your bf...but just because he's your bf, i.e you have a relationship, that doesn't necessarily mean it has to be serious. Granted, I don't know how often you see him or what you do when you do see him, but if you got out together, and kiss and stuff then I'd say he's your bf



He called himself my boyfriend and wants to meet my parents. He also kind of just assumed he would be my date for my brother's wedding...
Is it customary to have a date to weddings and such? Oh I know many do, but are you actually supposed to bring a date? If it's more like "bring a date if you want" then he sounds a little, well...arrogant...in just assuming he'll be going with you.
Of course, since you've obviously spoken about the wedding with him (since he knows about it) then maybe he misunderstood and got the impression that he would be your date.
