It wouldn't work unless the UN has a method to enforce its will - at that point you have a global government. though none of the major countries would agree to a UN vithout a veto so that for the forseeable future is nothing more than a pipedream. I agree about the EU.

I think there would be a lot more war and global issues would be harder to tackle. China would stomp all over the world (unless you propose splitting China up too), and it ain't ever going to happen.

I propose splitting china up to. Small countries are easier to control. Easier to avoid corruption and powermad presidents
