I guess it's like this - you know how if you have a brother, you think he's an idiot..you often tell him what an idiot he is..then some yahoo down the street calls him an idiot, and you end up defending your brother? Kind of like that.
But what if you're brother was telling my brother what to do the whole time and most of the time he did it (you could also argue that bullying makes a fair description to Bush's style), why shouldn't I say he was an idiot? I'm happy to agree if you want to call my brother an idiot as well for going along with it.
Also - I guess I don't know why you care oh-so much about US politics. Not just this post, but so many of them anymore from you are bashing the US.
Most non Americans have no problem with people having a go at their governments, the US seems to though and takes any criticism as Anti-American. I don't get it.

What the US does affects everyone in the world - would the Madrid bombing have happened without the US? I doubt it.
