(Unfortunately, the one I got wrong - Vancouver/Calgary - was the one that meant the most to me.)
Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Montreal Canadiens
Montreal has proven they can play with the best. That said, this is a tough series to call - Montreal has more stable goaltending as I see it, but Tampa has the more consistent team by far. Do you have any idea how much I want to see a Montreal/Toronto conference final? Well, let's get to it, then. Montreal can continue playing good because they want it - Tampa wants it too, but they don't have enough playoff experience and it's too easy to get overconfident and ~insert other cheap excuses here~ and that's just the way it is. I'm voting with my heart on this one. Montreal in 6
Philadelphia Flyers vs. Toronto Maple Leafs
What you said, but Belfour can make the difference again. When the man is on, the man is unbeatable. Philly has the will, Philly has the history (they beat Toronto last year), but dammit, let's go with the heart again. Toronto in 7
Detroit Red Wings vs. Calgary Flames
Now that Calgary has beaten my Canucks, I can say that they're one hell of a team. Iginla and Kiprusoff have continued to impress, and Calgary's containment and grind game shut down the Canucks' speed and skill on a nightly basis. Detroit has put last year behind them with the victory over the Predators, and now it's an even field. Calgary in 6
San Jose Sharks vs. Colorado Avalanche
Should be a good, clean, fast series. The Avs have the power, but the Sharks have the team mentality. Both goaltenders are good - I'd say goaltending is about equal, actually, the only difference being that Nabokov has more general playing experience, but we all know what that means when it comes down to four little wins in a series. Hmm. I have a hard time coming up with a winner here. It all seems so amorphous to me, and I could see it going either way. So ... Colorado in 7
After that, I like to keep my predictions one round at a time if I can.
