How often do you people get drunk? I'm curious.

Okay, first - how often do you have an alcoholic drink?
It depends on the week. Some weeks I'll drink a couple nights, other weeks will be dry as can be.
Second - what's your preference (ie. beer/brand of beer, spirits, wine)?
Bailey's is excellent. Guiness is wonderful as well, as is Warsteiner. Bud light for my American piss Beer cravings.
Third - why do you drink? Is it the thing to do, or you like to unwind, or you really don't know?
I drink to unwind, to socialize with my friends, and I have drank a couple times just to put a horrible week behind me.
Fourth - how often do you get drunk? I mean, like, have enough that you lose some inhibitions.
Not very often. When I do, its rather funny.
Fifth - How often do you get drunk enough to forget what you are doing, or to barf? Do those two go hand in hand in your experience?
For barfing, it all depends on how much I have in my stomach. If I'm drinking on an empty stomach, I'll puke once and feel fine. I've only drank myself into oblivion once, and I spent a solid 2 hours next to that toilet.
Sixth - how much does it take to get you to this point? Be honest, there's no need for false bravado on the internet. We're all anonymous here.
To get to that point? The one time, it took 4 or 5 rum and cokes over 4 hours and 12 shots of spiced rum in 45 minutes.
Seventh, and finally - why do you do it? Honestly, think about it. Isn't it strange?
I did that that one time because I had a crappy as hell week, and I was a slight shade depressed at the time.

Indeed. It was that horrible night, in fact. I came into chat, declared that I was drunk, said some stuff, excused myself, and didn't come back for 2 hours.
