Mrs. Druid and I did the Costa del something - Tossa del Mar - a bit north of Barcelona. Both the coast and Barcelona were magic. German tourists rather than Brit - so plenty of good Tchermann food
Now that would have been altogether more appealing in Culinary terms
Another reason to holiday in Britain - you just can't get good Indian in Spain
Actually, I did find a very good curry house in Salou. Remember Chicken Tikka Masala is now the UK's number one dish. Of course you could still get chips with it
I've done Andalucia around Seville and westwards to the Portuguese border - I worked there for three months. Madrid and Barcelona and the Pyrenees finish it off.
I'd love to go to Andalucia, everyone I know who have been there have given good reports.
They are all gone - either rusted, or theblocals dug them up during the recent civil strife
Island paradise, but the locals want to run it their way, which, unfortunately, can no longer work. Their population is expanding exponentially with modern medical care and the Catholic Church. No jobs. Big pressure on land. Big problems, which have not gone away, despite Oz and Kiwiland intervening and stopping the killing.
Aye, yet another troubled spot in the world. At least the killing stopped.
Probably best scuba diving in the world.
Never a bad thing
Not for the faint-hearted, but should be safe while the Australian and Kiwi Armies and Police are in charge of security.
So not to go high on the places to holiday list in the near future, then.
