Since homosexuality is more socially acceptable in females than in males, it's difficult for me to give you an accurate spin on this from their side.
From my point of view, being "naturally bisexual" if you will, I feel that many more people than admit it are born with SOME attraction to the same sex. I was raised in an environment where I never had to hide the things I felt naturally, and I've always been far more attracted, at least physically, to females than males. However, I don't like most women because of their attitudes. Men are more laid back and can appreciate some of the finer aspects of my personality (vulgarity and the love of sports ) and so I'm more mentally attracted to them than women.
Nature vs. nurture here, I think. You're born with a certain amount of attraction to the same sex, and you're taught to have a certain viewpoint on same sex relations. The mix of that is what you are.
As I've said before, I'm a straight girl trapped in a lesbian's body.

Me: Why is Danny Gokey making that heart signal? Does he love me like Jesus loves me?
Mr. rebel: Yeah, fictionally.
