True, but most of them also seem to be one hit wonders. Of course there are exceptions, Starship, but for the most part, one and done!

it's as if we're repenting for past stupidity. The songs surely can't be blamed!

And I would take great offense if Paul Simon's Sound of Silence made that list. There is nothing bad about that song. The lyrics are thought-provoking, and the music is good. Hmmph!
