If you are at college/uni...
1. What is your major?
International development studies and economics
2. What job do you hope to get because of this preparation?
ehhh... I'll probably become a professor eventually, because I like the atmosphere of learning, the energy that's here... otherwise, I could always work for the government or a non-governmental organization... whatever...
3. Is higher education giving you what you feel you need to be successful?
Sure. Although I think much more important is my attitude towards life, in that I see school as an opportunity to learn, to focus learning in a specific way, as opposed to "something I need to do to get a job". I like learning, and I think that willingness to listen extends to all facets of my life. So it's not so much university that's giving me what I need to be successful as it is a useful tool that is used by my attitude towards life, which is what truly gives me what I need to be successful.
4. Did you go to college right after high school or did you wait?
I went right after, although I took a year off, three years in.
Cheers. This is an interesting survey.
