Hmm - I don't think my response was knee-jerk. But perhaps you have a point. I just believe that this issue is a highly emotional one, and I didn't want our first conversation to degrade into an argument over something which we obviously both feel strongly about. You strike me as someone who does think about an issue. I appreciate your thoughtful reply. That's a better way of saying what I mean then I did before, yes?
