I remember spending all the time during this week all jazz festival squatting in front of a group from Peru playing their zampoñas, and then the street-parada would come and interrupt them.
But little by little, I came to like it, and these last few years I have been sitting in the town square day in and day out listening to jazz. It is free in the twon scare, and even the big guys who are hired for the big concerts play a song or two there. Tickets elsewhere in town are dreadfully expensive, though... sadly.
