Does the US, UK, China, or France ever get inspected for these weapons of mass destruction? (I'm sorry, this treaty only covers NUKES) I would hope that if another country acted like America has the last 50 years, there would be some of us resisting that country having it's military on our land, in our homes, and taking over the Earth...
Your first question: Under what authority would that happen? Second statement: Some resisting, some hopeful of more interference, it appears.
Thank you sooo much for stating the obvious...
It didn't seem so obvious to you when you appeared to claim that there was something unique about the US leaving the ABM treaty. Any treaty with an exit clause can be exited. NPT doesn't have one.
Who is WE? If you are talking about the US, obviously they disagree!! And obviously they took prisoners of war!!! They went to another country and fought the natives and took PRISONERS!!!
"We" is the US.
Yes, "we" disagree.
No, we captured illegal combatants.
Yes, illegal combatants.
The Baruch plan of 1946, offered by the United States, sought to forestall nuclear arms proliferation by placing all nuclear resources under international ownership and control.
Ok...
But the early postwar efforts to achieve agreement on nuclear disarmament failed. The Soviet Union in 1949, the United Kingdom in 1952, France in 1960, and the Peoples Republic of China in 1964, became nuclear-weapon states.
Sounds right...
So the US thought it would be the only one with Nukes...interesting...I wonder what would have happened if Iraq had been one these countries that are now ALLOWED to have these weapons?
You mean if they had acted like Pakistan and developed nukes on their own instead of signing the NPT and accepting dual-use technology from the West? I guess we would be treating them like Pakistan.

Your logic is breathtaking.
