some sort of modern fertility ritual. I mean, it has got all the nescesary parts:
ritualistic behaviour (slight variations but the same thing essentially happening every time)
enlargement of manly attributes (broader shoulders than what is natural, and... er...)
song (or whatecver ypi wnt to call what the cheerleaders do)
abnormally large female attributes (cheerleaders are not picked for their intelligence from what I can gather from bad American series)
and I could go on for ever.
