How is what you claim "we've" done any different than the broad generalization you just made?

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I meant that those who responded to the post generally said things along the lines of "What a horrible person with horrible beliefs." I just thought that that was a very extreme stance to take considering the fact that the whole article is based on second- and third-hand information about the guy.

I dissagree with his stance, and I have followed up more than just reading that article... his web site is available. I also do not associate him with all Christians. I am a Christian, and I don't associate his stances with my or others beliefs. He just happens to use "Christianity", at least his understanding of it, as a basis of many of his arguments.

I know. I happen to disagree with him too. In my school, we had text books from Bob Jones University Press. We called them "Biased Bobs" because they presented a very slanted view of history, biology, etc.

My point was that, regardless of who this guy is, judging him based on one article isn't a very fair thing to do.
