I am quite impressed. I am afraid I only grasped half of it, though, but far as I could tell, I guess I agree with your conclusion.
I read an interesting book about the religious origins of Yahweh (not the name, though) a few months back. If I get the sufficient time, I will probably make a post on it. We do fill oneanother in nicely: you do the ethymological stuff, and I'll stick to religion.
