I dislike many organisations/individuals/companies/whatever. However I also dislike moronic lawsuits where the person doing the sueing is 100% to blame and they are just making a mockery of the relevant justice system. If someone brought such a case against an entity that I despised (either of the main political parties in the British Government for example) I would cheer when it got shot down just as much as I would cheer if such a case that had been brought against someone/thing that I liked got shot down. Anything else would be hypocracy and a betrayl of myself.
I have no problem seeing your point. And if my reaction could in any way influence the mockery made of the American justice system, I would certainly react loudly enough about an unjust sentence, but I guess it is a mix of two factors:
1. I have given up on the American justice system and
2. I have to release my aggression in some way, and being happy when MacDonalds suffers economically is the way that least hurts anybody.
It is all on a... not-quite-serious level, though. HArd to explain. I do not normally rejoice when justice is killed, you know...
