What I am saying is that, before you read this article, you probably hadn't even heard this guy's name before. Now that you've read the point of view of an author who writes for a very liberal newspaper, which has no direct quotes from the man himself, you have him labeled as a gay-hater and a bigot, and you've also associated him with every other christian out there.
Shame on you.
How is what you claim "we've" done any different than the broad generalization you just made?
I dissagree with his stance, and I have followed up more than just reading that article... his web site is available. I also do not associate him with all Christians. I am a Christian, and I don't associate his stances with my or others beliefs. He just happens to use "Christianity", at least his understanding of it, as a basis of many of his arguments.
