but why should they be associated with the disease then? And why should someone who harbors such illwill towards them represent them on a council.

I think many times christianity's stand that homosexuality is a sin is interpreted wrong. I think think the guy has ill will toward homosexuals in general, of course I am just trying to see it from his view. And I think that he could serve well on the council having aids himself he knows what it is like.

As for aids being assoiciated with homosexuality, I really dont know other than to say it just is in most places, especially the Bible belt where I am from.

I can say that I think the guy needs to be a little milder in his speech, he doesnt do a very good job expressing an ethic of love.
