I want to protest against what literatedog wrote about that europeans want to become the united states of europe, and I that lives in Europe thinks that we do not want to be "USE".
For me, USA is one great example of how a union of countries NOT shuold be.
An famuos norvegian, can't remember his name, gave the soviet union no more then ten years of surviving, in the early 80's. The whole world luaghed at him, thinking he was mad and that the Soviet would never fall.

He guessed wrong by three months...

Now he has given USA 25 years.

But then Bush became president, and he lowered the prognose to 20 years.

So, you have twenty years left of changing for survive...
