...it came out nearly .8 ppm (parts per million) chlorine. The typical private swimming pool level is between 1.0 and 1.2! So, our tap water was nearly as chlorinated as our swimming pool.

Plus, in the US (I don't know if they still do it or not) they add fluoride to the water for teeth.

I've had some GOOD well water--my parents are on a community well and it's GOOD. And I've had TERRIBLE well water.

Plus, I lived in El Paso for 5 years where the public water supply is just about shared with that of Juarez in Mexico and the levels of Lithium in the water keeps the diagnosed cases of manic depression way down in the area.
