When people go spouting the "Decency" when talking about censorship, they are simply talking code for wanting the "system" to support and defend their own personal beliefs.
I live in Minnesota. The Twin Cities, or Minneapolis and St. Paul, are a pretty liberal urban area with a full compliment of arts, activism, philosophies and religions. Every time a group holds some sort of event, fringe art show, gay-pride parade, war protest, world-religion festival, Hindu spiritual gathering... some section of the community rise up and claim these events go against public decency and should be stopped. Why? Small minds.
he doesn't want so much to start censoring things. he's saying that while so many of these people are for any kind of expression, which is fine, but that when it comes to censoring political speech, in the form of the dubious campaign finance reform, they're all for censorship. (part of that is from another reply i made )
If It Makes You Happy
Frankly, I don't know why anybody listens to actors about anything other than acting. Since when does the ability to fake emotions on cue like a sociopath make one an expert on anything?
