actually, i really did have the kind of day where everything went wrong. frustrations piled upon frustrations...it began to feel like the universe was out to get me. Either that, or some clandestine group with nothing better to do than to torment the likes of me.

as for someone else...well, a friend came by, very upset over some problems she's been having with the guy she's been seeing. i'm really not very good at the comforting-thing, but i gave her a hug and made her laugh. does that count?

Doing something that you are not very good at in order to help someone else. Sure does count.
