The South Korean public is raising "h#ll" already. I recently spoke with someone who just got back from being stationed in Seoul. There are protests against the Americans almost daily, and many locals display an antagonistic attitude to any American that isn't inside the army base.

Also Sunday, about 40,000 people rallied at a Christian demonstration in downtown Seoul to support the U.S. military presence in South Korea and to condemn North Korea's suspected nuclear program.
