Well, we have compulsory military service here. I was lucky to escape it

As I said, I did poorly on the tests, and refused.

Do you think a regimented and ordered life would be hard to follow?

Possibly, but probably not.

Do you think soldiers shouldn't bother with the actual thinking part of war? Or does it really matter as long as they do the job?

There is very little thinking involved in war.

Why would someone JOIN the army to begin with? To be a hero? To be regularly paid? WHAT? tell me.

Beats me. There are strange people in this world.

What sort of people join?

People without any prospects of ever making money on intelligence...
