What the Thinker thinks, the Prover proves.. TheTelesmic - 16/01/2003 07:11:54 PM

The sad thing is, of course, that emotional awareness and territorialism are on lower circuits of consciousness than rationalism and verbal skills. Faults in communication arise primarily when people are on different levels of consciousness, which is easy to achieve because supposedly 'rational' and 'objective' conversation is often offensive to the reality tunnel of one or more parties involved.

Red Fox: "We do not see why we should accept your religion only because you insist it is the only way to salvation. If so, why did God not give us the means for achieving it?"

Minister Fakelove, aghast: "You do not accept the Perfect and Only True Religion of my own devout Holy God??"

Red Fox is being rational, and Minister Fakelove's intelligence is offended, and he is therefore territorial. The two do not communicate efficiently.

If anyone that read the original post is confused or suddenly made dramatically aware of something new, they should be slapped. Which isn't to devalue discussion herein, but concepts of miscommunication and hardwired realities goes back as long as humans have had a time-binding dialectic drive. It all goes around in circles..
