Druid's Random Thoughts on Perceptions and other Silly Vaguenesses. Druid - 16/01/2003 01:10:11 AM

I agree completely with you, but am too old to change my tree-hugging, conservative, commie, Norwegian-bashing ways.

What I do when I wish to express a view contrary to my perception of your collective perceptions of what Druid is perceived to hold perceptively dear [pause for air] is use one of my alter-egos:

If I wish to bash America I use the zerocontrols sig.
If I wish to praise America I use the meirin sig.
If I wish to be really strange I use the dylinfanatic sig.
If I wish to be really comforting, I use the Fanatical sig.

You will have noticed these, I am sure.

But.

Me is me. I like whales. I am fond of trees. I dislike the impact of war on the innocent and the participants. I do not like stupidity, waste or cruelty to others. I like women and love some of them. I am Australian and proud of it. I am the product of my education whether formal, informal or experiental.

So you should be able to predict my reactions to any given stimulus, if you have studied my past behaviour. I will not be taking any road to Damascus anytime soon, as I have been there, and I still have the T-shirt. So do not expect change.

So perceive away. I may step out of character if bored, to have fun or to tease, but not for long
