I found wotmania a long time ago, but I really got "hooked" only in the Winter of 2001-2002. My problem was that I was working at a job where I had long intervals with nothing to do, which could be followed by 40 hours of straight work with no sleep time to break it up. In other words, it wouldn't have been a "problem" having all the down time if they didn't squeeze it all back out at horrible times.
Regardless, during my down time, our internet use was mildly monitored. We couldn't look at porn, obviously, and there were other sites that it just wouldn't do to be caught looking at (like sites where NY lawyers complain about their employers). I had gotten into a very bad habit indeed - I would browse amazon.com and look for books that interested me. In the course of a little over two years, I had bought over $5,000 worth of books on amazon.com. Now, although my salary at the time could take something like that, spread out as it was over two years, I realized that I was running out of room for new books.
I had to find a website that would distract me from the boring sitting and waiting without wasting any more of my money.
And so...voila! I started to be, in the true sense of the word, a wotmaniac.
Annoying wotmaniacs for 10 years.
Oh, I don't have time for this. I have to go and buy a single piece of fruit with a coupon and then return it, making people wait behind me while I complain. - Prof. Farnsworth

Find out what WOT really means...
Wotmania helped me see that his drug abuse wasn't going to get better and that I was enabling him. It was also an escape from that drama. And a support group when I finally moved out with my baby to my mom's. 14 years later I'm in a healthy happy marriage 10 years strong with two boys. A teenager who knows everything and a four year old who does as well. I never have to think for my self again! Also I found my Grimbear lifelong partner boyfriend husband love machine! I'm definitely better for wotmania. So many wonderful people who enrich my life daily!!
