New Spring was in a book called 'Legends (#3?)' that I got for the sole reason that it contained an original TP story.

man he is funny - and soooooooooo philosphical.

You speak the truth...the only book of his that I've read (and I'm pretty sure I've read them all)that doesn't contain a lot of meaning is "The Unadulterated Cat" which is absolutely hilarious so its okay anyways. Of course if you can find deeper meaning in the bizarre things cats do it may contain philosophy of a kind.
