Since you think Terry Pratchett is very cool (from the WoT MB, Post - The Holey One), and yes he is very cool indeed (my favorite author in fact) you may notice the parallels in your above post and Guards! Guards! in which it is said that on the discworld the magic is not quite as powerful as it was centuries ago so huge flying fire-breathing dragons (draco nobilis as opposed to dumpy, explosive little swamp-dragons) could not exist in present times...so they went to the one place where there was enough magic to sustain them...the dreams and imaginations of man! Its stuff like that that makes TP great.
Cos of all this stuff you just said!
