I'm sure someone's touched upon this already, but I'm too lazy to real all the posts in here.

Totally understandable and something I do all the time.

Marriage is a commitment. Two people committing publicly their love for each other and their dedication. You could even take it further if you're religious, and say you're declaring your love and devotion with God as your witness. Pretty powerful stuff, not to be summed up with a simple piece of paper.

But why do we need this marrige? Is love for each-other not important? Do we really need something more? Is marriage IYHO just a ceremony for the public? Why can't you express your love, and even declasre your love for each other by being true. I think all G-D wants is sex and babies.

Oh, and the tax break.. sweet tax breaks.
